This Mix is curated by Tarutaru, the official mascot of Tarumizu City, Kagoshima Prefecture! He's a mascot that got stuck in a barrel and now lives there, and we will be tumbling with him throughout his homeland! From the lovely city that he represents, to an active volcano where people live, and a festival that's been around for hundreds of years where... people make spiders fight?!?

NOGINON OF NOGI TOWN
Noginon is a bright and cheerful sunflower girl... the official mascot of Nogi Town! Always upbeat, she stretches positively toward the sun. What is that strange hat she's wearing, you ask? It's the roof of a 19th century "Hoffman Kiln"!
KAWAMIN & KAWABE
Kawabe is an old fig that was made the mascot of Kawajima Town. Imagine his surprise and pride when the residents of Kawajima Town voted his granddaughter was into the same role 2 years later!
UMIBOZU, THE SHIP BREAKER
On a clear, cool night off the coast of Japan... when the moon is a wide white river on the surface of the sea... wary sailors stay close to shore, for they know that the Umibozu waits beneath the waves.
HACHYAMARU OF HASAMI TOWN
Equipped with an intensely curious gaze and an onsen (hotspring) on their head, Hachyamaru wears a Hasami-porcelain bowl and has an asparagus for a tail. They are the official mascot of Hasami Town!
YAHATAINU, THE POTATO DOG
The official mascot of the City of Kai, as his name implies, Yahatainu is a dog that is also a Yahataimo potato (one of the City of Kai's locally grown items)! While he is usually sleepy and laid-back, he gets angry when folks touch his leaf!
TAIMEE OF MINAMI ISE
In the tranquil sea-side prefecture of Mie, there exists a fish like no other! Taimee is the official mascot of the town of Minami Ise! Their father was a Sea Bream named TaiTarou (父:鯛太郎), and their mother was a mandarin orange (母:みかん).
